WATER SPORT ACTIVITIES
Partake in the wide range of water sport activities. We are also the home of the Laanecoorie Water Ski Club. So whether it is boating, water sports, fishing, swimming or just relaxing along the lake, the Laanecoorie Lakeside Park is the ideal spot to enjoy these activities.
Great Fishing Spot
Fishing is available in both the lake and the river. We commonly catch Redfin, Yellowbelly and Cod. Fishing rods are available for hire at the park. Fishing bait and tackle is available in our general store. Yabbying is also available in the local area. For more information visit us during office hours
HUNT FOR GOLD!
We are located in the heart of the Golden Triangle and only a few minutes from the local gold-fields. Historically the area has been a very rich gold mining area and is still popular amongst modern day prospectors. We also hold the Laanecoorie Gold Bash here at the park.
